Cumbria is my home. My family lives here, I work here and I volunteer in Mountain Rescue here. It is an enormous privilege to be Labour’s candidate for Whitehaven & Workington and I’m determined to deliver for our community – on new nuclear and renewables, more and better paid jobs, investment in public services and in our towns and transport.

We’re running an exciting and innovative campaign to win this seat, but it is going to cost a lot of money to get us over the line and I need your help.

My goal is to raise £10,000 to cover essential costs during the short campaign. This will help me to deliver:

• A leaflet to land on every doormat in the constituency (45,000 homes)
• Direct mails to 20,000 key target voters whose support is vital to our success
• A massive digital advertising blitz

Donations are regulated by the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000. By making a donation to Josh MacAlister I understand and accept the following:

• If I am making a donation of more than £50 checks will be made to ensure my name is included on a UK electoral register (excluding the Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
• If I donate more than £1,500 to Josh MacAlister in a calendar year, my name and the amount of the donation will be reported to the Electoral Commission. Such donations will be published on the Electoral Commission’s website, although my home address will not be made public.
• The money I use to make a donation must be from my own funds. I must not pass on money from a third party. It is an offence not to reveal the true source of a donation.
• This donation is not tax-deductible.
