As part of my commitment to be an active, visible and accessible MP I carry out street surgeries, advice surgeries, coffee mornings, drop-ins and public meetings in towns and villages across Whitehaven and Workington constituency every month.

All my bookable events to Easter 2026 are now listed in the form below.

Coffee mornings, drop-ins, public meetings and village meetings are open format meetings which are open to everyone in the area who registers. Venue details are not published in advance and registration is essential. This is for a variety of reasons – including for security, to check that everyone attending is a constituent in Whitehaven & Workington, to manage capacity and to ensure we order the right amount of refreshments. If you register, you are confirmed to attend. You’ll receive venue details 1-2 days before the event. Please do not share these. Only those who are registered are able to attend.

Street surgeries are held on specific streets and you’ll get a letter the week before if I’m visiting your street on that date. Only register below for a visit if you’ve received a letter.

I hold monthly 1:1 advice surgeries in Whitehaven and in Workington but they are by appointment and are not bookable below. Appointments are made when needed by my office following an assessment of your case. You can also meet my Casework team at their monthly drop-in every second Wednesday, 9.30am-12.30pm, at the Carnegie Theatre in Workington, and by appointment at my office in Whitehaven at other times. Upcoming dates: 8th October, 12th November, 10th December.
