Keep our pharmacies open!

Boots have announced plans to close around 300 stores, with a focus on their pharmacies.

I wrote to the Chief Executive of Boots to ask whether any stores in West Cumbria will be affected and he refused to rule this out.

I am very concerned about the closure of any community pharmacies, particularly in Frizington, where the pharmacy is the only source of medicine and medical advice in the town following the closure of the GP surgery.
