Crime and anti-social behaviour are major issues in communities across West Cumbria and the massive cuts we’ve seen to police numbers are partly responsible for this.
The next Labour government will put 13,000 police officers back on the beat. That means more visible policing, with bobbies back on your street again.
If I’m elected as your MP I’ll fight to make sure we get our fair share of these police officers here in West Cumbria.
But I want the current government to act now.
